You will arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila. The airport is named after the national hero "Benigno Aquino". His wife "Corazon Aquino" became the first female president of the Republic of the Philippines in 1986. Once you leave the arrival area there are plenty of taxis available. US$ 10.00 for a taxi ride from the international airport to your hotel is a reasonable price. In the City however you should always ask the taxi driver to switch on the meter. You will probably need to spend a night in Manila and fly to Coron/Busuanga the next day. KokosNuss recommends the Park Hotel in Paco Park. The australian managed Park Hotel has standard, de luxe and suite rooms with air conditioning, a swimming pool and a restaurant with international cuisine. Next to the check-in counter you can find "Mr. Ticket" who can provide your domestic flights to Palawan. If you would like to go out in the evening you could go to the shopping mall "Robinsons Place" in Adriatico Street or watch some live bands at the "Cowboy Grill" in Malate Street.
